Ignited Together for God's Glory!

I am excited about all that this year has in store for us here at NorthStar Academy. This will once again be an incredible year full of excitement and community, for which God has created us. It is your faculty and staff’s desire to be known by you and for you in turn to know God and each other.
NorthStar Academy is a school that ignites our love for learning, our heart for community, and our passion for spreading the gospel. Our NorthStar community challenges me and ignites my passion to keep pursuing God. NorthStar is a place where you do not have to do it alone; you can build your own community by making connections with your teachers and your classmates.
Our theme this year is:
Our faculty and staff are walking through the book of Romans, which is all about redemption through Christ and the forgiveness and grace that God so freely offers. This alone should ignite a fire within us! Left to our own devices, we are utterly lost. But because of this adoption into God’s kingdom, we are no longer condemned and our lives take on a whole new meaning. In Romans 8, we read of the gift of salvation through Christ, and how God has adopted us as His children, even though we have done nothing to earn it. He has so lavishly poured out the riches of His grace.
Therefore, we have such an incredible opportunity to come together with the common goal of igniting and inspiring each other to pursue God’s calling on our lives. God has given you your own set of unique and special gifts that only you can use to glorify Him. We are created with a purpose, and that starts today. We know that this year will not be easy. But no matter what, let God’s promises in His word ignite us to persevere together.
