NSA is an international school that teaches students from around the world. From the United States to the United Arab Emirates, students experience vastly different cultures from one another. But what about the weather? An often-overlooked aspect of life, weather varies between continents, regions, and, most importantly, hemispheres.
Teamwork is everywhere in life. Teamwork is part of businesses, corporations, sports and everything in between. This teamwork can also be found in video games!

This article is a story written by Keziah, a writer on the Navigator, and Elijah, an NSA elementary student and her brother. The story highlights the relationship between a sister and a brother, and how they will always care for one another, even if they are worlds apart.
In a classroom setting there are rarely classes that fit the interests of students, whether it be banking, nursing, or any career one could think of. However, NSA provides career courses to get students ready for college and later on in life. An example of one of these courses is Journalism, which focuses on investigating the truth.
Last year, two days before Easter, I learned that someone I knew was very ill. He was one of the assistant cross-country coaches at my high school, and I had spent two seasons under him. During the latter season, I had discovered that he was struggling with cancer.
“What? How? What are you doing here?” Navi asked in shock. He had not heard from her since she went missing five years ago. Stella did not answer his questions. She just kept walking. Navi realized he had just been standing there staring at her, frozen, and he ran to catch up. Shaking off his confusion, he ran to catch up.“Are you going to tell me what you’re doing here?”

Just like a captain steers and guides their ship, so also does the editor-in-chief lead the Navigator. Since 2019, the Navigator has had four different editors-in-chief. Whether they served for one or three years, each has left their mark in distinct ways and brought change to the Nav for the better.
Global Missions Week took place from March 3rd to March 7th. Students had the chance to hear from speakers all around the world, to learn about cultures outside of their own, and to discuss how to serve with those spreading the gospel to non-believers.
In my earlier times at NorthStar Academy, I wanted to partake in a class that would be enjoyable and engaging. Tentatively, I signed up for the NorthStar Navigator, a choice that was well worth it. The class, to this day, has proved fun, interesting, and engaging.
Hello everyone! Welcome to Nav Advice, a new series where students can submit questions or situations they need advice on, and a Navigator writer will do their best to answer them! From freezing in Valley Forge with George Washington, to marching with Martin Luther King Jr., and watching in awe as the first men walk on the moon, American History is filled with excitement and adventure. There are new things to be learned every day, and in US History Survey Live at NSA, a two-semester course that meets once a week to learn about events affecting America, Ms. Dunlap is helping students realize that.
It is no surprise that NorthStar Academy has excellent course options. However, I have found the Bible classes to be the most beneficial classes in my High School career so far. As a sophomore in high school, I took the Theology in Real Life course. Now, as a junior, I am taking Foundations for The Christian Worldview.
Hey, after his last adventure, Navi found a hint to The Adventures of Navi Vol.3: Off-Course. However, he cannot read the hint because it appears to just be random numbers. Luckily, he finds a little translation key to help him decipher this message. Can you help Navi use the translation key to decipher a hint of his next adventure?
When I was a senior in high school, I took physics. Our teacher was notoriously challenging and did not shy away from bringing many excellent students to tears. However, I was undeterred. I loved math and science and had never encountered a teacher I couldn’t get along with... Challenge Accepted!
For many of us, April is a month where winter fades into the background. Where I live, the red maples lining the strip of lawn in front of my house are already putting out new leaves. Sprouts of swamp sunflower, aster, and mountain mint are crowding for space in the family garden.
