Music Club Competition Winner

This Christmas season, the Music Club hosted a Christmas Song Talent Competition!
The Music Club, in addition to many other clubs at NorthStar, has hosted competitions before. Participating in club contests and chatting in club channels are fun ways to get involved in the NSA community. (You can find more information about joining clubs down below!)
The Music Club features many channels for those who enjoy singing, writing music, playing instruments, worshipping, creating and sharing playlists, and more!
For their most recent competition, contestants were told to make their own musical version of a Christmas song. Some worked alone and others worked with partners to create their festive compositions. But, out of the nine submissions received, there could only be one winner!
Congratulations to the winning pair - Hallie G. and Owen B.! Hallie and Owen won for their performance of “O Come, O Come, Emmanuel.”

Clubs are available for all High School students at NorthStar Academy. To join the Visual Arts Club or other clubs, go the “General” channel in the High School Building of NorthStar’s official Microsoft Teams server and locate the “Campus Map” tab at the top. Scroll down to the club section to find the join codes.

Lydia N. is starting her fourth year on The NorthStar Navigator and her third as editor-in-chief. She is also the vice president of student council this year and enjoys traveling, singing, acting, performing on stage, writing, reading, watching shows, drinking coffee and tea, hanging out with friends, and cuddling with her dog, Pippin. She plans to go to a college near her home and start her own business after high school with all the skills that StuCo and the Navigator have taught her.
