Have you ever wondered what Spirit Week is? Well, pay attention because you are about to find out! Spirit week is a whole week where you can do enjoyable activities and meet a ton of new people.

Day one started with iNSAne kindness and some of the people’s responses were iNSAne! iNSAne kindness day promotes a safe and fun environment for all the students. It also gives a safe and positive place to be.

Day two was Bring Your Pet to School day. On Bring Your Pet to School Day, the students were able to share pictures of their animal companions. Pictures started with a miniature turtle or mouse and went up to an enormous fluffy dog.

Day three was Meme Day. Meme Day was a very exciting day. There were many funny memes. There were countless amounts of laughter, creating friendships and bonds.

Next came Culture Day. I found that a very interesting day. Everyone learned about a bunch of different places our classmates are from. It felt that Culture Day is about understanding the differences between everyone and even if we are from different places we are still all alike.

The very last day of Spirit Week was PJ Day. It was a funny day. It is cool to see what people were like in the PJs. The idea of PJ day is about embracing the benefits of homeschooling. Also, it is to feel very comfortable.

The reason we do Spirit Week is because it brings people together and starts new friendships. Those are some of the reasons we do Spirit Week. It was a fun experience to do Spirit Week. Spirit Week brings the school together to help create friendships. I hope you enjoyed what it is like to do Spirit Week.

Anya Burtak is 12 years old and she is in seventh grade. She lives in Sarasota, Florida. She has attended NSA for 3 years. She has two dogs named Sky and Rhoda that she loves to play with. She loves to swim and is on a swim team. In her free time, she is either swimming, hanging out with her friends, or taking theater lessons. Her favorite animal of all time is an elephant. The language that she wants to learn the most is French. Her favorite class is Science. Last but not least, her favorite movie is either Hamilton or Dumbo.
