The Fruit of the Spirit is not a Coconut

Get excited NSA, because the Fruits of the Spirit are coming! And no, it is not the coconut kind of fruit. These fruits are the best that NSA has ever seen. Get ready for month after month of fun-filled scripture-related goodies!
From September through May, NSA’s amazing Spiritual Life Leader, Chana Noeth, and the Discipleship Team (DT) will be posting verses, images, songs, posters, and podcast episodes each month in the Discipleship Team channel in the Spiritual Life Team. Each month will get its own featured Fruit of the Spirit, and the Discipleship Team will post inspiring spiritual motivators every few days in each month that will relate to that month’s Fruit of the Spirit.
All throughout the month of September, NSA’s amazing DT members have been posting inspirational bits of scripture about this month’s Fruit of the Spirit, love!

On top of all this, all NSAers have a way to interact and be a part of this Fruit of the Spirit project as well. At the beginning of each month, the DT staff will post a form in the DT channel of the Spiritual Life Team, where anyone at NSA may post any questions they have about the upcoming month’s fruit. The DT staff will try to focus on these questions to help NSAers grow their faith in God.
NSAers also have a chance to be featured in future podcast episodes. That’s right! Chana says that “Our podcast will be a key feature! For the month of September, we did a discussion-style podcast with two of our DT members, but in the future, we hope to include other students on our podcasts!” If you want to be in a future podcast episode, contact Chana in Teams, or through email.
So, all of this being said, check out these encouraging Spiritual goodies! You will not be disappointed. And stay tuned for more goodies coming this month. Chana permitted a sneak peek of the month of October, and it will be the month of joy. And, she also provided a SUPER sneak peek… the verse of the month! The verse of the month for October is James 1:2-3: “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.”
Lydia Novak is in 9th grade this year and this is her first year at NSA! She loves to sing, act in local and professional theatre productions, and read when she isn't doing schoolwork. She lives in Kansas City, Missouri, with her mom and step-dad. She has no siblings, but she does have a dog named Pippin (after Peregrin Took from the Lord of the Rings book series).
